A dancer since age 3, and a choreographer since her teens, Lillie only knew of dance as a structured and disciplined form of art that follows rules and expects perfection. Later in life, her spiritual quest led her to rediscover her passion for dance as a meditational alternative. She learned the value of trance dance through her own journey of self-discovery and personal growth and was inspired to facilitate this process for others. This longing moved her to study dance healing modalities around the world and dance history, based on her own experience, she created a unique dance venue for people to release and heal the heaviness of life, while feeling uplifted and inspired through their introspective movement.

"The dance doesn't change what we're going through, it changes us and how we go through our life experiences. When we touch our Inner Self, we can't help but shift our perspective of life. It heals that which is holding us back, our own misconceptions, thought patterns and fears. As we dance, we know that our divine spirit is healing us while leading us into our unique life dance. It sheds what no longer serves us and liberates an authentic version of our selves.
The dance defines us, moving us into a new life that supports our divine purpose."

In August 2010, she launched Dances of Spirit™ a trance dance spiritual practice that opens participants to an inspiring and blissful state of well-being. She offers a program that combines trance dance workshops with spiritual counseling and Zen lifestyle development. She pioneered the spiritual dance movement in St. Petersburg, Florida with this groundbreaking program that grew in the area for 8 years before relocating to South Florida. She has witnessed so many lives being transformed as well as hers. After 2-1/2 years of pandemic hiatus, Dances of Spirit™ is being re-launched in the Ft. Lauderdale area and later in 2023 in her home island of Puerto Rico.
